Sampling the food

Mission Statement

Taste Of Columbia County Bounty logoTaste Of Columbia County Bounty held
Monday, July 28, from 5-9pm
at Columbia County Fairgrounds in Chatham

At the fabulously successful Taste of Columbia County Bounty at the Fairgrounds July 28th, diners had way more than just a taste. More than 300 people turned out to sample the work of 38 chefs and an equal number of farms donating product. There was everything from a cold summer soup, salads, vegetables in imaginative ways, tasty meats, chicken and even smoked trout to delicious goat cheeses and mouth-watering fruit-filled desserts and a chocolate fountain. Drinks included aronia juice, wine and local beers.

The event raised money for Columbia County Bounty, to cover such expenses as this web site, a Bounty brochure distributed at farmers' markets, tourism sites and restaurants, upcoming programs and other events that foster the connections among farmers, chefs and consumers.
